She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice DeMeyer and Lillian DeMeyer (Guinnee); and her nephews, Stephen and Cameron. She is survived by: her husband Larry Stafford; her children, Denton Stafford (Jennifer), Warren Stafford, John Stafford and Amy Schield (Joe); her grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Frank, Coel, Ailey and Lawson; her siblings, John DeMeyer (Barbara), Daniel DeMeyer (Elaine) and Ann Garten; and her siblings' children, Melissa, Stephanie, Brendan and Phillip.
