She is survived by: her former spouse Maxen E. Bachler; and her sons, David Carpenter (Mary) of Kansas City, MO, Dennis Carpenter (Darlene) of Pleasant Valley, MO, Donnis Carpenter of Shenandoah, IA and Steve Carpenter (Carol) of Farragut, IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
