We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2021, at the age of 83, Joyce Marie Thompson of Linn Creek, Missouri, born in High Point, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Papen and Tamzel Papen; her husband Gerald Carlton Thompson; her children, Laura Nelle Thompson and Matthew Bradley Thompson; her sister Bonnie Wilson; and her close friend Jules Becker.

She is survived by : her son Jeffrey Gerald Thompson of Linn Creek; her brother Kenyon; her sister-in-law Betty Papen of Collins, Missouri.; her sister Janet Cumper of Osage Beach, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Rachel Thompson of San Antonio and Chris Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas; her great grandchildren, Elliyah Vanunu and Elan Vanunu; her nephew David Papen (Paula); and her nieces, Melanie Wilson, Merri Melvin, Michelle Shepherd (Clint) and Samantha Swetter (Brent).
