She was predeceased by : her husband Benton Melton; her parents, Harley Dodd and Ella Sitton Dodd; and her siblings, Josephine Miller, Fae Chism, Irma Coker, Doris Miller, Coy Dodd, Elmer Dodd and Roy Dodd.
She is survived by : her children, James Melton (Linda) of Bentonville, AR and Yvonne Beasley (Donald) of Chatsworth, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
