She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Morton and Edna Gillings Morton; her husband Everett A. Geery; her children, Everett W. Geery (Carolyn) and Hazel Genie Zurleinden; and her siblings, Charlene Martin Poppy and Raymond Martin.
She is survived by : her sister Nancy Wickell of Quincy, IL; her grandchildren, Jerry Floyd (Randi) of Portland, OR, Larry Floyd (Sally) of Portland, OR, Geery Floyd of Warrenton, MO and Mike Geery (Nancy) of Louisiana, MO; her foster son John Wood (Charlotte) of Louisiana, MO; her cousins, Clyde Penrod of Louisiana, MO and Kate Todd of Louisiana, MO; and her close friends, Charlotte, Harold Wilson of Louisiana, MO, Hayden, Phyllis Adkison of Louisiana, MO, Giner McKinnon, Jean Carr, Shirley Penrod and Sheila Radford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, she requested memorial donations to be made to Louisiana Pike Pioneers Center.
