With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Baker of Macon, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Samuel and Eunaitai Grace Ford (Dillee); her spouse Wilford Leon Baker; her siblings, Viginia Ford, John Ford and Cleveland Ford; and her parents-in-law, John Gunzel, Bud Knapp, Bill Walters, Charles Grapes, Grace Ford, Carol Ford, Ralph Dorrance, Jim Smothers, Eddie James and Bill Minor.

She is survived by: her children, John Paul Baker (Charl Ann) of Clarence, MO, Florence Eunaitai Riley (John Mark) of Atlanta, MO and Dan Harvey Baker (Vicki Renee) of Kirksville, MO; her grandchildren, Patrick Cox, Billy Cox, Misty Cleeton, Leah Turner Matthew Riley (Riley), Ben Baker and Ashley Carrier (Baker); and her siblings, Betty Knapp (Ford) of Florida, Patrik Ford (Nancy) of Texas, Martha Anne Smothers (Ford) of Stotts City, MO, Frances Foster of Macon and Lois Minor (Ford) of Florida. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Family suggests memorials be made to Loch Haven Nursing Home.
