She was predeceased by: her husband George Ray Grant, Sr.; her daughter Alicia Smith (Grant); her granddaughter Jennifer Peacock (Jackson); and her sisters, Mary Frances Kennedy and Lorraine Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Patterson of Macon, Sheila Lyons of Macon, Sherry Hollis of Macon, Angela Jackson and George Ray Grant, Jr.; her wife Kay of Columbia, MO; and her sister Janice Jones of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
