He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleopis Edgar and Hazel Shull Burkhart; his wife Wilma Grace White; and his brothers, Gene, Bob, Ralph, Don and Alan.
He is survived by: his nephew Bill White (Carol) of Anabel; and his niece Karen Sturgeon of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
