She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin J. Chambers and Sadie Laverne Willie Chambers; her husband Albert Farris; and her sons, Nolan Dewight Farris and Keith Farris.

She is survived by: her brother Norman Chambers of Antiloc, IL; her sister-in-law Vyrene Brown of Gideon, MO; her sibling's children, Rachel Alcozer, Josh Chambers and Justin Chambers; and her close friend Peggy Rawls. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
