He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wheeler of Bernie; his children, James Howell (Melinda) of Sikeston, Gena McKinney (Jewell) of Kennett, Valerie Wheeler (David) of Kennett, Debra Wheeler of South Bend, Sharon Booker (Tarryl) of Sikeston, Denise McQuerter (Rod) of Sikeston, Carolyn Wynn (Otis) of Sikeston, Wannetta Gillispie of Sikeston, Gloria Moore (Roy) of Sikeston, Evelyn Bogan (Kenneth) of East St, Margie Frazier of East St and Yulonda Brady of New Madrid; his son-in-law Archie Bradford of South Bend, Indiana; and his siblings, Joe Wheeler (Lorene) of Flint, Billy Wheeler (Pearl) of Lilbourn, Ann Clark (Willie) of Sikeston, Rosie L. Wheeler of Flint, Michigan. and Elizabeth Kindler of Flint, Michigan.. He is also survived by thirty-four grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
