He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edna M. Carthan Robinson; his children, Alma Robinson of Malden, Lorane Burton of Farmington, John Young of Aurora, Lonnie Robinson (Eunice) of Pierre, James Robinson, III of Pierre and Duane Robinson (Alicia) of Chesapeake; his brothers, Hosea Robinson of St. Louis and Edward Robinson (Randie) of Malden; and his daughter Mary Ann Howes. He was also cherished by 23 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren.
