He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schoemehl and Bernice Antoon Schoemehl; and his brother John Schoemehl. He is survived by: his wife Helen Arnold Rascher; his children, Tommy Schoemehl (Amy) of Malden, John Schoemehl (Jeri) of Columbia, Missouri and Sarah Shoemaker (Benjamin) of Dexter; his stepson Ryan Rascher (Heather) of Dexter; his grandchildren, Piper Schoemehl, Case McCormick, Jonas Shoemaker, Sophia Shoemaker, Madelynn Schoemehl, Lauren Rascher and Sawyer Rascher; and his siblings, Mary Clark of St. Louis and Tony Schoemehl (Libby) of California.
