He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Deck and Ruie Deck (Reason) of Glen Allen; his wife Doris Jane Brewer; his son Jerry; his siblings, Gilbert, Paul, Walter, Dean, Bill Deck, Thelma and Ella Underwood; and his sons-in-law, James Mackey and Ralph Macke.
He is survived by: his children, Jake Deck Jr. (Jodi) of Tallassee, TN, Joey Deck (Polly) of Glen Allen, Jeffery Deck (Patti) of Glen Allen, Johnathan Deck (Becky) of Glen Allen, Janie Macke and Janet Jansen (Anthony) of Leopold. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
