He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thiele and Lena Thiele (Elfrink); his siblings, Edwin (Evelyn), Glen Thiele (Ethel), Irene Stoverink (Alphonse), Hilda Beussink (Albert) and Helen Beussink; his daughter-in-law Debby Thiele; and his granddaughter Robin Thiele.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Beussink (Fred); his siblings-in-law, Harold Beussink and Lorraine Holzum (Henry); and his children, Ken Thiele (Kathy) of St. Charles, Ivan Thiele of St. Joseph, Wayne Thiele (Jackie) of Marble Hill, Mary McBride (Lynn) of Cape Girardeau, Nick Thiele (Brigitte) of Marble Hill, Marcia Upchurch (Steven) of Marble Hill, Ernie Thiele (Debbie) of Marble Hill, Annette Wiseman (Tim) of Leopold, Cathy Nunez (Mario) of Tallahassee, FL and Jeanne Forrester (Kevin) of Marble Hill. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
