He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hart and Lillie Hart (Belden); his wife Erma Hart; and his siblings, Ina Pritchard, Elden Hart and Raymond Hart.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Kraude (Robert), Rick Hart (Laura), Neal Hart Fordland (Stacy) and Lynn Schmidt (David). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
