He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Young and Reba Lorene Young (Stevens); his brothers, David Young and Farrel Davis; and his son-in-law Judd Suckla.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Tasha Tranbarger (Marty) of Shawnee, KS, Terri Westerman (Joe) of Englewood, CO, Tanya Zukel (Dan Poje) of Shawnee, KS, Curtis Young of Ozark, MO, Kara Linch (Jeremy) of Cortez, CO, Gary Don Letterman (Sandy) of Niangua, MO, Elaine Kindall (Kelsey) of Fordland, MO and Alan Letterman (Cheryl) of Marshfield, MO; his sisters, Carolyn Ivey (Harvey) of Springfield, MO and Veleta Smith (Ron) of Marshfield; and his siblings-in-law, Erma Davis, June Young, Deanna Smith and Robert Cantrell. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideons or Missouri Baptist Children's Home in care of the funeral home.
