He was predeceased by : his parents, George M. Knepper and Frances Knepper; and his siblings, Ona Burns and Dennis "Butch" Bozzay. He is survived by : his sons, Guy Knepper and Scott Knepper (Vicki); his grandchildren, Kevin Knepper (Caitlin), Kathy Winscher (Brian), Kyle Knepper and Korey Knepper; and his brother Terry Bozzay. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Services: Service with Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri on Friday, August 21 at 10:00 a. m. (Please meet at 9:45 a. m. in the parking area behind the administration building just inside the cemetery entrance. All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing).
