With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlie Wooten of Maryville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin G. Wooten and Vada M. Wooten (Drydale); his wife Cissy Christian; and his siblings, Michael Wooten (Colleen) and Sheila Wooten.
He is survived by: his significant other Dianne Goodall; his children, Laci Wooten (Shealor Crouse), Paige Wooten (Colton Hielen) and Sidney Owens; his stepchildren, Carinda Irvine, Daniel Irvine and Mercedez Puckett; his grandchildren, Emmit Crouse and Roman Rinehart; and his siblings, Paul Wooten, Vicki Wells, Susan Growcock, Janet Strueby and Joan Degase. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Price Funeral Home (120 E 1st St, Maryville, MO 64468).
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial gifts be made in care of Price Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
