With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Clarice Jean Holtman-Schuetz of Maryville, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Clarice left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Eckstein and Gerturde Eckstein (Eickholt); her daughter Tammy Rose Holtman; and her siblings, Hubert, Ava, Leiva, Eva, Eileen, Louis, Emelia, Leo, Bernie, Bob and Jerry.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice; and her children, Ronda Strueby (Jeff), Randy Holtman (Susie), David Holtman (Amy), Julia Ludlow (Ron) and Mark Schuetz. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, the best sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church (333 S Davis St, Maryville, MO 64468). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Columba Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church or Right to Life.
