Norma Elaine (Welch) Schneider Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Elaine (Welch) Schneider of Maryville, Missouri, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul J. Welch and Jennie McMahon King; her son-in-law Nick; her siblings, Paul A. Welch Sr. and Betty Welch; her husband Gary E. Schneider; her son-in-law Jeff Anderson; and her pets, Gus, Scout, Boo, Attie, Harper and Jovi.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Schneider of Bozeman, Montana, Craig Schneider (Christy) of Kansas City and Suzi Anderson-Freeman (Nick) of Maryville, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Ashley Silvers (Trevor Gardner) of Camdenton, Quintin Schneider (Ray Roberts IV) of Kansas City and Kyle Schneider of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church (333 S Davis St, Maryville, MO 64468). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to benefit Three Rivers Hospice (3rivershospice.com) or Nodaway County Center's Meals on Wheels Program (nodawayseniors.com).
