He was predeceased by : his parents, Leland Athon and Jenny Athon (Zigler); his wife Dorothy Mae Bolander; and his daughter Rene Benwell. He is survived by : his children, Randy Athon of Odessa, MO and Sandra Buchan (Dale) of Oak Grove, MO; and his son-in-law Marvin Benwell of Holden, MO. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.
