He is survived by : his wife Catherine "Kay" Wienstroer; his children, Karen Nichols (Barry) of Columbia, MO, Mike Ortbals (Lisa) of Columbia, MO, Mark Ortbals of Quincy and Teresa Ellis (Mike) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Kasey of Columbia, MO, Zach of Columbia, MO, Danni Nichols of Columbia, MO, Katie Mills (Aaron) of Augusta, GA, Claire Stansberry (Pete) of Columbia, MO, Nathan Ortbals of Kansas City, MO and Matthew Ellis of Quincy; his great grandchild Oliver Mills; and his siblings, Millie Jurgensmeyer (Joe), Marvin Ortbals, Helen Stuckenschneider (Joe), Joan Egbert, Bob Ortbals (Denise) and Jim Ortbals (Jean).
