He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Henry and Mary Faye Turner (Writesman); his brothers, Marvin Gene and Melvin Dene; and his son-in-law Herb Kelly.

He is survived by : his children, Kay Kelly of Excelsior Springs, Lana Knutter (Bob) of Lawson and Randy Turner (Kathy) of Cameron; and his sister Mary Jo Hyatt (Russell). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
