He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Ruth Blades; and his son-in-law Floyd Gordon. He is survived by: his children, Debra Kirkley (Ray), Rhonda Gordon, Annie Shields, Brian Blades, Kathy Thornton (Jim) and Eugene Durbin. He is also survived by 8 children, 15 grandchildren.
