It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eckelmann of Moberly, Missouri, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Charles Eckelmann, Jr. and Marilynne McClintock Eckelmann; and his wife Denise Hopper. He is survived by: his children, Amy Denise Mitchell of Independence and David Brandon Eckelmann of Moberly; his grandchildren, Audrey Denise Mitchell of Independence, James Ryan Mitchell of Independence and Jocelyn Kay Martin of Moberly; his siblings, Louis Charles Eckelmann III (Carrie) of Moberly, Dixie Lynn Thomas (Franklin E.) of Huntsville and Gary Lee Ecklemann (Jan) of Mountain Home, AR; and his pet Indy. He is also survived by extended family and many good friends.
