He is survived by: his children, Carma Schmidt (Robert) of Texas, Mike Owings (Lisa) of Oregon, Mark Owings (Sylvia) of Colorado and Tad Owings (Angela) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Leslie Schmidt-Taylor, Robert Michael Schmidt II (Danielle), Amber Owings-Daller, Jeff Owings (Lindsay), Crystal Akee (Kaleb), Megan Owings, Amanda Wanous (Andrew), Matthew Owings and Thomas Owings; his great grandchildren, Cody, Buetow, Victoria Schmidt, Paislee Reynolds, Conner Wanous, Nicholas Rhodes, Adain, Addison Daller, Jasmine and Elizabeth Akee; and his sister Doris Lee Alton (Milton) of Mexico, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
