She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Birdsong and Pensa Birdsong; her brother Gary L. Birdsong; her son David Wayne Sweezor; and her granddaughter Melanie Renee Richards.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Richards (Jacquelyn) of Wisconsin, Early "Joe" Richards (Cassandra) of Boonville, MO, Veronica Thorp (Robert) of Moberly, MO and Eric Sweezor (Laurie) of Linn Creek, MO; and her siblings, Richard Birdsong (Norma) of Bethany, MO, Pensa "Penny" Skidmore (Odis) of Moberly, MO, Vivian Tyler (Mike) of Kansas City, MO and Leonard Birdsong (Brandy) of Moberly, MO. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
