She was predeceased by: her brothers, Karl-Heinz, Gerhard, Günter, Otto and Adolf; her siblings-in-law, Edda Witthöft (Günter) and Harry Paasch (Christa); her son-in-law Stan Petrov; and her parents, Heinrich and Louise Witthöft.
She is survived by: her husband Klaus Wilhelm Hoppe; her children, Ann Hoppe Petrov and Ralph Hoppe (Sarah); her grandchildren, Andrew Hoppe (Allison) of Highland Park, Krista Lawson (Corey) of Kirkwood, Ethan Hoppe (Callie) of Loveland and Annalie Hoppe of Columbia; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Cameron Hoppe, Kai, Christopher and Brooks Lawson; her sisters, Ilse Krieger (Irving), Hermine Roßbach (Richard) and Maria-Louise Michaelis (Siegfried); and her sisters-in-law, Ingrid Witthöft (Gerhard), Mariechen Witthöft (Otto), Erika Witthöft (Adolph) and Christa Paasch (Hoppe). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
