He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Messick and Eunice Schmidt Messick; his wife Marjorie Wright Messick; his daughter Debbie Sue Messick; and his siblings, Marvin Messick, Marion Messick and Maxine Messick.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Messick of Columbia Falls, MT and Connie Messick of Nevada, MO; his stepdaughters, Carole Thomas of Rock Hill, NC and Denise Kreek of Moberly, MO; and his half-sister Karren Neden of Carthage, MO. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
