She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Geary Thompson Sr. and Johnnie Mae Hart; her husband Chauncey Jackson Sr.; her siblings, Sterling Geary Jr. and Bonnie Jean Hart; her daughter Wanda L. Aldridge; and her stepson Robert Jackson.

She is survived by: her stepdaughter Chauncey Jackson Jr.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
