She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delbert Thompson and Nola Thompson (Rattliff); her husband Harold A. Smith; her son Dean Smith (Bobbi) of Cairo; her stepchildren, Gloria Groves (Harry) of Mexico and Ronnie Smith (Donna) of Macon; and her children, Fern Epperson and Edward Dale Barnett. She was also cherished by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
