He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Smothers and Jane Smothers. He is survived by: his former wife Patti Rook; his wife Melissa Smothers of Moberly; his children, Robert Ryan Smothers of Columbia, Sara Jo Levell (Dustin) of Oak Grove and Rusty Rook Smothers of Moberly; his stepson Jonathon Brockman (Amber McElroy) of Folley, AL; his grandchildren, Christian Rain Smothers of Columbia, Cale Reid Smothers of Columbia, Aleix Fry of Moberly, Gage Levell of Oak Grove, Kameron Joel Smothers of Moberly, Kaleb Rook Smothers of Moberly and Elliot James Brockman of Folley, AL; his great grandchildren, Kanden Smothers of Iowa and Wyatt Fry Butner; and his siblings, Tom Smothers (Gaile) of St. Louis, Noah Eugene Smothers (Pat) of Lebanon, Roy Smothers (Connie) of Moberly, Marla Rasmussen (Dave) of Cairo and Howard Smothers (Ellen) of Holliday. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece; extended family and close friends.
