He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. McClendon and Margaret I. McClendon (Norris); his spouse Nava Johnson; his great grandchild Olivia; and his siblings, Ed McClendon, Bonnie Adams and Kathy Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Edens of Moberly and Kyle McClendon of Moberly; his grandchildren, Zachary, Kylee, Jayden, Ashton, Megan, Jairus and Dakota; and his siblings, Paul McClendon of Stark City and Barbara Spinks of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephew's other relatives and friends.
