He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kenneth Polson and Bertha Alice Hopkins Polson; his son Christopher Epperly; and his siblings, James Polson and Alice Hollon.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Debra Taylor; his wife Debra Polson of Moberly; his children, Aaron Bloss of Fulton, Sherry Cortes (John Hughes) of Moberly, Joseph Bloss of Moberly and Roseann Perkins of Missouri; his grandchildren, Karissa Isenhower of Moberly, Anna Cortes of Moberly, Takya Wells of Moberly and Carter Wells of Moberly; his great grandchildren, Abel of Moberly and Leo Lorton of Moberly; and his siblings, Kenneth Polson of Columbia, Vinnie Sieburh of Moberly and Daisy Brady of Cairo. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
