It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayland Howard Sumpter (Moberly, Missouri), who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayland Spencer Sumpter and Cora Mae Sumpter (Coliver); his son Ernie Eisenhofer; his wife Maria Eisenhofer; and his siblings, Elnora Dunkin, Billy, Gerald and Adrian Sumpter.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Holcomb of Moberly; his brothers, Russell Sumpter of Moberly, Jackie (Ruth Sumpter), Vernon (Sue Sumpter) and Gary (June Sumpter); and his grandchildren, Eric, Crystal Eisenhofer of Clarksville, TN, David and Melody Eisenhofer of Muncie, IN. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; step children and step grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
