He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Smith and Dorothy Smith (Miller); his stepmother Velma Shelley; his wife Celia Smith; and his siblings, Paul Smith, Melvin, Willard Terry, Mary Smith, Loretta Smith, Martha Gunthrie and Charlett Pratt.
He is survived by: his children, Noel Smith, Jr. of Monett, Albert Smith (Cherilee) of Monett, Marie Baxter of Butterfield, Sally Robinson (David) of Monett and Christy Kerns of Monett; and his brothers, John Smith of Eldorado Springs, MO, Ronnie Smith of Sarcoxie, Frank Smith of Cassville and Fred Smith of Pierce City. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
