It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jodie Mae Evans of Monroe City, Missouri, born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Theodore Eugene and Martha Hosey Varnadoe; her children, Mary Ellen Taft (Larry), James Lee Evans (Cheryl) and John Russell Evans (Jean); her grandchildren, Lori Karr, Kendall and Joshua Evans; and her great grandchild Dalton Wyrick. She was also cherished by her children, their spouses.
