He was predeceased by: his former wife Christine Sansom of Kentucky; his sons, Raymond Edward O'Dell (Butch), Garry Gene O'Dell and James Earl O'Dell (Jamsey); his siblings, Alvin, Charles, Carl (Bud), Paul O'Dell, Sue Tripp and Louise Bell; and his spouse Shirley Jean Overcast of Kentucky.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie O'Dell (Sissie) of Sikeston, Michael O'Dell of East Prairie, Linda Matheney (Gene) of East Prairie, Karen Holder (Charlie) of East Prairie, Elaine Pace (Jim) of Lookout Mountain, Christy Bixler (Vince) of Cape Girardeau and Sarah Garner (Brad) of Sikeston; his siblings, Earl B. O'Dell of Indiana, George O'Dell of Sikeston and Florence Parnell of East Prairie; and his stepchildren, Donna Wilson of Mayfield, Kenny of Paducah, Keith of Puryear and Stan of St. Petersburg. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
