He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernst Leitman and Margaret Leitman (Smith); and his siblings, Lorene Simpson (Charles), Eugene Leitman, Betty Suzanna and Altha Juanita.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia "Pat" Leitman; his children, Cliff Leitman of Salem, Scott Leitman (Kim) of Moscow Mills, Michelle Leitman of Moscow Mills, Noel Eveland (Robin) of Moscow Mills and Nicole Kirk (John) of Tonganoxie; his grandchildren, Tracy Miller (Corey), Aaron, Jacob, Rebecca, Jonathan, Zachary Leitman and Stephen Leitman (Sarah); his sister-in-law Cathy Leitman; his cousins, Marie Leitman and Mary Jo Broyles; and his brothers, Jim (Susan Bunton) and Dr. John (Barbara Druhe). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
