She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Shockley and Margie Shockley (Combs); her son Mark Self; and her grandson Charles "Trey" McCumber. She is survived by: her spouse James Purvis; her son Vicki Kaylor (Larry) of Neosho; her wife Angie of Jasper; her siblings, Mike Shockley (Ann) of Springfield, Sandra McKinley (Melvin) of Neosho and Sharon Berryhill of Golden City; and also, Susan Henry (Neil) of Neosho, Marianne McCumber (Charlie) of Galena and Pappy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
