She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Clarissa Elizabeth Smith (Tannar); and her son Kevin Wing. She is survived by: her children, Keyna Armstrong of Neosho, MO and Karla Wing of Jackson, MI; and her adoptive daughter Maria Paz Chico of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Contributions in honor of Barbara are requested for Cascade Humane Society.
