She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Elmer and Rita Belle McCrary (Thomas); her son Charles Beatty; her half-sister Mercedes Smiley (Dee); and her brothers, Robert, Donnie, Raymond and William McCrary.
She is survived by: her son Alan Beatty of Lees Summit, Missouri; and her siblings, Gerald McCrary (Myrna) of Neosho and Edith Parmley of Neosho. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
