He was predeceased by: his father Roy Nelson Crumbliss; his wife Marjorie Patton (Huffman); his mother Mae Crumbliss; and his siblings, Hazel Spencer, Lorene McBride and Cleo Crumbliss.
He is survived by: his former wife Donna Logan; his daughters, Cheryl Jones (Steven Scott) and Sheila Jackson (John); and his stepchildren, Linda Robinson (David) and Doyle Patton (Xiaoping). He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
