She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Coulter and Juanita Shields; her husband Paul Austin; her sons, James Friend and Rick Friend; her children-in-law, Kathy Friend, Loella Friend, Bryanne Friend and Alan Bond; and her granddaughter Gabriella Hinojos.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Leonard (Dave) of Arizona, Cheryl Bond of Goodman, MO and Johnny (Diana); and her half-brother Gaylord Alexander (Liz) of Nebraska. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
