It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velda Wood (Neosho, Missouri), born in Granby, Missouri, who passed away on June 6, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Reta Fullerton; and her grandson Adam Wood. She is survived by: her parents, Ted E. and Betty L. Hatcher (Vance); and her children, Gene Wood (Cindy) of St. Charles, MO, Judy Dorris (Jerry) of Sturtevant, WI and Mary Jane Flint (Barry) of Granby. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Velda received the Silver Service Award from the Missouri Lt. Governor for her volunteerism with the Alzheimer's Association, she was a former member of the County Extension Service and was an avid antique tractor enthusiast.
