She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Gilbert and Dorothy Gilbert (Brunk); her spouse Charlie Long; her son Darren Lee Shaver; and her sister Alice Tuscinger.

She is survived by: her close friend Munchie; her children, Kenneth Bryan Shaver of Neosho, Belva DeAnn Frazier of Neosho and Renee Lynn Williams of Neosho; and her grandchildren, Tyler Shaver, Blake Williams, Katlyn Williams, Bailey Frasier, Chloe Frasier and Madison Shaver.
