She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Henry and Olga Emma Schowengerdt (Arndt); her spouse Carlie August Begemann; her sons, Ray Lynn Begemann and Thomas Begemann; and her sister Emma Jean Lear.

She is survived by : her sons, James Begemann (Teresa) of Odessa, MO and Ron Begemann (Joan) of Odessa, MO; her grandchildren, Mark Begemann, Tresina Alvested, Matthew Begemann, Mary McBride, Christopher Begemann, Carrie Begemann, Christina Morgan, Bradley Begemann, Chris Coleman and Justina Setina; her brother Robert Arndt Schowengerdt; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Begemann of Odessa, MO.. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Zion United Church of Christ in Mayview, MO, Mayview Missouri Foundation or Preferred Hospice.
