He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Harold Lewis; his wife Carol Ann Lewis (Sample); his children, Bill Jr. (Linda), Cynthia Williams (Ron), Judith Garrigas (Richard), Barbara Cromer (Steve) and Lucy Haessly (John); his stepchildren, Brian Abbott, Jamie Smith (Joe) and Wendi Stephens (Alvin); and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Sample and Rudy Sample. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
