He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Benjamin and Bessie Whitehead; the mother of his children Patricia Whitehead; and his siblings, LaRue Lankford (Albert), Robert Whitehead (Laurine), Billy Whitehead (Norma), Hilbert Whitehead (Dot) and Aileen Anderson (Gene).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sutter-Whitehead; his children, Terry Whitehead, Becky Whitehead George (Joe) and David B. Whitehead (Lori Johnson); his stepchildren, Laura Lager (Chris), Julie Sutter and Dan Sutter (Brandi); his grandchildren, Madalyn Colbert (Chris), Mason George, Grant B. Whitehead and Drake Whitehead; his great grandchild Mabry Colbert; and his stepgrandchildren, Mollie Lager, Emily Lager, Hannah Lager, Jake Lager, Sophia Sutter and Jack Sutter.
