He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar M. Emge and Regina Emge (Molitor); his siblings, Bill Emge, James Emge, Oscar Emge and Dolores Emge C. P. P.; his siblings-in-law, Bernard Sommer and Helen Emge; and his grandson Ian Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Alice J. Emge (Dove) of St. Paul, Missouri; his children, Mel Emge (Mary), Erwin Emge (Janet), Linda Shepherd (Tony), Dennis G. Emge (Rita), Dolores Jensen (Bob), Steve Emge and Noel Emge (Nancy); his siblings, Robert Emge (Judy), Charlotte Schneider (Bill) and Lucille Sommer; and his sister-in-law Jackie Emge. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
